Take It Back part 2 of 2

Wednesday 3/20/24, “Take It Back,” Part 2

Trust Completely in the King of Kings and Lord of Lords

Key scriptures:

Gal. 3:13-14, NKJV; 13 ”Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”),

14 that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.“

        Christ offers believers a twofold blessing in v14 which we will take a look at here;

        1. We obtain justification by faith through Abraham in Christ Jesus;

The blessing of Abraham of justification by faith is upon all who believe. God looks for faith and is no respecter of persons.  God told Abraham he would be the father of many nations. The problem was he had no children. ”The word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision, saying, “Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your exceedingly great reward.” 2 But Abram said, “Lord God, what will You give me, seeing I go childless, and the heir of my house is Eliezer of Damascus?” 3 Then Abram said, “Look, You have given me no offspring; indeed one born in my house is my heir!” 4 And behold, the word of the Lord came to him, saying, “This one shall not be your heir, but one who will come from your own body shall be your heir.” 5 Then He brought him outside and said, “Look now toward heaven, and count the stars if you are able to number them.” And He said to him, “So shall your descendants be.” 6 And he believed in the Lord, and He accounted it to him for righteousness,”

Genesis 15:1-6 NKJV.

        Believing God is not complicated at all. It takes simple childlike faith. The Lord made it so easy a child can believe on Jesus and receive salvation. [ 2 For if Abraham was justified by works, he has something to boast about, but not before God. 3 For what does the Scripture say? “Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.” 5 But to him who does not work but believes on Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is accounted for righteousness, 6 just as David also describes the blessedness of the man to whom God imputes righteousness apart from works: 7 “Blessed are those whose lawless deeds are forgiven, And whose sins are covered; 8 Blessed is the man to whom the Lord shall not impute sin.” 9 Does this blessedness then come upon the circumcised only, or upon the uncircumcised also? For we say that faith was accounted to Abraham for righteousness. 10 How then was it accounted? While he was circumcised, or uncircumcised? Not while circumcised, but while uncircumcised. 11 And he received the sign of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness of the faith which he had while still uncircumcised, that he might be the father of all those who believe, though they are uncircumcised, that righteousness might be imputed to them also, 12 and the father of circumcision to those who not only are of the circumcision, but who also walk in the steps of the faith which our father Abraham had while still uncircumcised. 13 For the promise that he would be the heir of the world was not to Abraham or to his seed through the law, but through the righteousness of faith. 14 For if those who are of the law are heirs, faith is made void and the promise made of no effect, 15 because the law brings about wrath; for where there is no law there is no transgression. 16 Therefore it is of faith that it might be according to grace, so that the promise might be sure to all the seed, not only to those who are of the law, but also to those who are of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all 17 (as it is written, “I have made you a father of many nations”) in the presence of Him whom he believed—God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did; 18 who, contrary to hope, in hope believed, so that he became the father of many nations, according to what was spoken, “So shall your descendants be.” 19 And not being weak in faith, he did not consider his own body, already dead (since he was about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah’s womb. 20 He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, 21 and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform. 22 And therefore “it was accounted to him for righteousness.” 23 Now it was not written for his sake alone that it was imputed to him, 24 but also for us. It shall be imputed to us who believe in Him who raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead, 25 who was delivered up because of our offenses, and was raised because of our justification,”

Romans 4:2-3, 5-25 NKJV.

        Jesus receives all who call upon Him in His name. Jesus didn’t come and die for one group of people, or for one ethnic group. God’s love is far greater than that. It’s  even beyond our scope of imagination. He died for the vilest sinner, the most wicked sinner that ever was. He died even for those. God is selective about who gets into heaven, and that is ; “You must be born again,” renewed in you spirit”. Even to graduate out of high, men use a screening process. It seems to be a low one, but God’s standards never ever change.

One particular president said regarding the education system, “No child will be left behind.” We have some students who are illiterates graduating out of our high schools that can barely read or write. If you believe on Jesus you shall be saved, you and your entire household. God takes His children from faith to faith; and from glory to glory. Someone shout a good loud ‘Amen!’ ”just as Abraham “believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.” 7 Therefore know that only those who are of faith are sons of Abraham. 8 And the Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel to Abraham beforehand, saying, “In you all the nations shall be blessed.” 9 So then those who are of faith are blessed with believing Abraham,” 10 “For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse; for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who does not continue in all things which are written in the book of the law, to do them.” 11 But that no one is justified by the law in the sight of God is evident, for “the just shall live by faith.” 12 Yet the law is not of faith, but “the man who does them shall live by them.” 13 Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”), 14 that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith,” Galatians 3:10-14 NKJV.

        2. We can receive the promised Spirit through faith; known as the baptism of the Holy Spirit

         This is where we separate the boys from the men; lest anyone become offended, this is the second baptism John the Baptist spoke of; AKA the baptism in the Holy Ghost is manifested by speaking in tongues, and doing the works of Jesus. God sometimes speaks through men using the Spirit in an  unknown utterance. Not all the languages on earth sound like they are a language at all, but  are used for communicating thoughts. God availed Dynamo power to every believer. And John bore witness, saying, “I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and He remained upon Him. 33 I did not know Him, but He who sent me to baptize with water said to me, ‘Upon whom you see the Spirit descending, and remaining on Him, this is He who baptizes with the Holy Spirit,” John 1:32-33 NKJV.

        The Holy Spirit can sometimes come as a flame. This flame does not consume material. Twice I experienced a hot fire burning behind me. I thought I was going to burn up, I was waiting for someone to pull the fire alarm. I became highly concerned so I turned around expecting to see smoke and flames, but there was no fire, and there was no smoke.  “I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire,” Mat. 3:11, NKJV.

         Sure as the sun is going to rise in the east God’s word is going to come to pass. What God promises God delivers. From the foundation of the world books were written about each one of us. Each one of us has an assignment to fulfill. God put us here for a purpose, which is to serve Him, not ourselves. The body of Christ is complete and healthy when every one pitches in and does something. We all need each other, we all have a part to play in fulfilling God’s plan down here. We all jointly fir together just like a puzzle. God’s body is healthy when all of the parts are in working order. We’re each to do God’s will while we’re down here. We’re not here haphazardly, or that God didn’t already know, Jeremiah 29:11, Psm. 139:13-18, Psm. 37:23-24, Psm. 39:4. “And being assembled together with them, He commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the Promise of the Father, He said, “you have heard from Me; 5 for John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.” 6 Therefore, when they had come together, they asked Him, saying, “Lord, will You at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?” 7 And He said to them, “It is not for you to know times or seasons which the Father has put in His own authority. 8 But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth,”” Acts 1:4-8 NKJV.

        Jesus told His disciples to tarry in Jerusalem until the promise of Holy Spirit came; this is the promise of the Father. The sending of the Holy Spirit. It endued them with dunamis power, which is where we get the word dynamite. The disciples needed the Holy Spirit to do the works of Jesus, and even greater. ”Behold, I send the Promise of My Father upon you; but tarry in the city of Jerusalem until you are endued with power from on high,”” Luke 24:49 NKJV.

John 14:16-17 NKJV

16 “And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever—

17 and the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.“

        Abraham heard and he obeyed. The Christian life is an obedient life to God and to His word. The walk of a Christian is always progressive; growing stronger in faith,  and from revelation to revelation. As soon as we become saved we soon realize we have an assignment to do in partnership with the Holy Spirit. Our spiritual ears should always be listening His voice, and do what he tells us to do. The first time God spoke to Abraham, He told him to leave his country, his family and his house at 30 years of age. He went not knowing where he was going. In being obedient to God he went to offer his only son as a burnt offering in the area of Mt. Moriah. Simply by obeying God by faith it was accounted to him for righteousness, not just to him but to all his seed. It was by faith, not by performance or works. So it is with believers today; Jesus is a descendant of Abraham, and we are spiritually tied in to the blessing of Abraham by faith in Jesus Christ. It by faith in God’s word.

3/19/24 A Word From The Lord While looking at Heb. 11:1;

Hebrews 11:1, Now, faith is the substance of things hoped, for the evidence of things not yet seen.

Faith is the same as believing. Believing is the same as faith. Believing is faith. Faith is— faith is now; now faith is. Faith is always present, but you have to put legs on it and put it to work.

When the Spirit is present, the power is present to heal, and for miracles to happen. Miracles are a sign for the unbelievers. Do these so others will see and believe. Teach, preach, and it will be like a mighty wind. If you do your part, I will do mine. First you have to do your part. People are in the dark about many things. This is not My will.

        I can only use you if you choose to be obedient. I can’t use a vessel that is not submitted to my word, and is willing to be obedient without questioning. Watch and see what I will do. I must be taught to the multitudes. I must be made real to the unbelievers, to the doubters, and to the mockers. If you are obedient and willing; then— and only then can you be used as an instrument. An instrument of My Mercy, an instrument of My peace, an instrument of My love, and an instrument of My healing. I cannot use an unclean vessel.             Stay holy, stay pure, stay set apart, and keep yourself for me; I am holy, I am pure, and I am love. Follow after Me, seek Me, and search for Me with all of your heart, and then I will be found by you.

        Stir yourselves, stir yourselves up with my word, add belief, add faith, and bring praise from your lips of clay. I rejoice when my children diligently seek me with all of their heart. I love my children. I desire to pour out my Spirit where I find faith and a hunger. Rejoice; rejoice in My peace, rejoice in My word. Rejoice, because I am coming back soon for my bride. Make yourselves ready. Gird up your loins, be sober, go forth where I send you. Hearken to my word, because it will never fail you. It will never let you down. Seek me, and me alone. I am the true and living God to all the world. I desire, none to perish. Be bold and brave. It is not by your strength, or by your might, but it is by My strength and  by My power says the Lord God Jehovah,

        In your own strength, you are weak, frail, and fall short. Put me on, try me out for size, says the Lord God, Jehovah.

        I know all things, seek Me with all your heart, and I will show up and out. I will demonstrate to you great and mighty things you do not know. Stay focused on your calling, stay alert, stay in My word. Every word will come to pass that I have spoken says the Lord God, Jehovah.

        Go in peace and go in boldness. Go knowing that I will never leave you, or forsake you. Believe! Believe and you will see. The race is not to the strong, and the race is not to the swift. The race belongs to the ones who follow after me. Keep looking up with expectation.

        If I see a sparrow that falls to the ground, don’t you think I know each one of you by name, and where are you are? Keep pressing and walking toward Me, don’t stop, don’t stand still, but come unto me; I already promised that I would draw nigh to you says the Lord God, Jehovah.

        Satan comes to steal from you, but I come to give to you countless blessings. Satan kills, but I offer you eternal life, and a life more abundantly. Satan comes to destroy, but I have come  to build back up, to restore the brokenhearted, and to gather up those broken in spirit. There is no wall between me and you. There is no wall to break through. I AM the ever present One. There is none like me. If you are hungry, come and I will feed you. If you are thirsty, come and I will give you water to drink; this is My promise to you. These are my promises and they will never be broken, no— not one.

        Gather  yourselves to me and come to me. Call on Me and I will show you great and mighty things you know not. Rejoice, don’t quit the race. I have made ready all things to fully equip you. Use your gifts and talents by faith. They have been available at your disposal. You lack nothing. Rejoice says the Lord God Jehovah. Rejoice!

”“Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for Me?,” Jer. 32:27 NKJV.
