Take It Back part 1 of 2

Wednesday 3/6/24 Short Version; “Take It Back”

John 10:10, NKJV;

“The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly”

Psalm 107:20, NKJV,

“He sent His word and healed them, And delivered them from their destructions.“

Provers 4:23 NKJV,

20 ”My son, give attention to my words; Incline your ear to my sayings.

21 Do not let them depart from your eyes; Keep them in the midst of your heart;

22 For they are life to those who find them, And health to all their flesh.

23 Keep your heart with all diligence, For out of it spring the issues of life.“

Hold on to every word of God. As a born-again believer God’s Spirit abides within you. You are  spiritually one with Him. His Spirit bears witness with your sprit that you are indeed a child of God, whereby we cry, “Abba Father.” Every word is pure, every word is truth, and every word works. It will work whenever you are. It will work in the daytime, it will work in the nighttime. The gates of hell can not prevail against God’s word. He is a defeated foe and you are triumphant. Believe it! His Spirit lives within us, and we became one in Spirit with Him who created us. The entire word operates by faith. Believe every word from the beginning of Genesis to the end of Revelation. Without faith it’s impossible to please God. Those who come to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarded of those who diligently seek Him. Seek Him with your whole heart, turn yourself completely over to Him. He’s worth it! We are three parts; we are spirit, body and soul. The spirit man is born-again but the flesh and mind are not. Do not allow your flesh to alter your belief in God’s word. Don’t allow doubt and fear to control your trust in a loving God. We are involved in spiritual warfare. Our fight is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers in high places. Put on the full armor given to you by God. Always be full equipped and alert! He has given you a measure of faith. Exercise and stretch your faith like you do a muscle. Take it, run with it, walk with it, fly with it. It is yours and yours alone. Believe it with your entire heart not doubting or wavering in the face of circumstances. For nothing is too hard for God. Nothing is impossible with God. No problem too insignificant or no problem too big. Speak His word over yourself daily, many times a day. Pray without ceasing. Believe in your heart and confess with your lips helps  and it will become a reality in this life. Nothing happens in the physical world, unless it first happens in the spiritual world. That’s why believing with your entire heart is of utmost important. Keep pressing in. If you knew what was on the other side of your mountain you would stay in faith. Believing, confessing, and possessing all go hand in hand. How do you know you’re praying according to His will and not your own? You will experience God’s perfect peace. His Spirit will bear witness with your spirit. It will be an inner peace not contingent upon your circumstances. On the cross Jesus said, “It is finished.” He did all He’s ever going to do on your behalf. He’s not going to come back and die on the cross again. It’s up to us to do our part. We appropriate the promises and blessings by claiming them. Don’t let one blessing slip by. Too many Christians let blessings and promises slip right past them. This isn’t what God desires for them. He wants His children to have the very best of everything. It’s already been paid for with His precious blood; the spotless lamb of God. Slain before the foundation of the world, and Jesus counted it joy to go to the cross for you and I. He was thinking of you and I way back then. For you alone He would have come and hung on the cross, and bore the agony and shame. The Bible says, “Cursed is eve one who hangs on the tree.” The Bible further says Jesus made a public spectacle of the devil on the cross, triumphing over him. He’s a defeated foe. Know it! That’s how much He loves you today, this hour. Remember to read His word. Claim each one of His promises, their tours, they belong to you. His word is His promises to you. God is not a man that He should lie. The Bible says blessed is the man whose sins are forgiven, and whose sins are covered. Your are indeed a blessed man, there’s no two ways about it.

Remember Jesus has already done all that He’s ever going to do, there’s no more left for Him to do. It’s now up to you and I to claim those promises. They aren’t going to fall off the tree like ripe cherries and hit us on the head. Keep confessing the word. Quote scripture to the devil… say, “It is written…”

Gal. 3: 13-14 NKJV,

13 Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”),

14 that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.“

Redeemed definition:

Three Things The Law Could Not Do:

1 The law could not impart

               the Holy Spirit

2 The law could not bring

                perfection

3 The law could not work

                miracles

P. 3, Gal. 3:10-12,

10 ”For as many as are of the workes of the Lawe, are vnder the curse: for it is written, Cursed is euery man that continueth not in all things, which are written in the booke of the Law, to doe them. And that no man is iustified by the Law in the sight of God, it is euident: for the iust shall liue by faith. And the Lawe is not of faith: but the man that shall doe those things, shall liue in them.“

It is repeated in these above verses, that no man can be justified by the law in the sight of God. The just shall live by faith, and the law is not of faith.

P. 29, Blessings; Deut. 28: 2-14

P. 29, Curses; Deut. 28: 15-68

P. 21, Mat. 8: 17  NKJV

21 “That it might be fulfilled, which was spoken by Esaias the Prophet, saying, He tooke our infirmities, and bare our sickenesses.“

1 Peter 2: 24 NKJV,

“Who his own self bare our sins  in his body on the tree, that we being dead to sin, should live  in righteousnesse: by whose stripes you were healed.“

Isa. 53: 4-5 NKJV

4 ”Surely He has borne our griefs And carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted.

5 But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.“

John 19:30, NKJV,

Jesus said, “It is finished!”

Heb. 8:6, NKJV

6 “But now He has obtained a more excellent ministry, inasmuch as He is also Mediator of a better covenant, which was established on better promises.“

Gal. 1:14, NKJV

14 “that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.“

Heb. 10:38, NKJV,

38 “Now the just shall live by faith; But if anyone draws back, My soul has no pleasure in him.”“

Gal. 4:4-7, NKJV

4 “But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law,

5 to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons.

6 And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, “Abba, Father!”

7 Therefore you are no longer a slave but a son, and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.“

1 Peter 1:19-23, NKJV

19 ”but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.

20 He indeed was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you

21 who through Him believe in God, who raised Him from the dead and gave Him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God.

22 Since you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit in sincere love of the brethren, love one another fervently with a pure heart,

23 having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever,“

Gal. 3:14, NKJV

14 ”that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.“

We receive two things by Christ’s death:

1 we receive Abraham’s blessings of justification by faith that it might come to the Gentiles.

            2 we receive the promised

                Spirit through faith

Rom. 4:16, 24-25, NKJV

16 ”Therefore it is of faith that it might be according to grace, so that the promise might be sure to all the seed, not only to those who are of the law,

24 but also to those who are of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all but also for us. It shall be imputed to us who believe in Him who raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead,

25 who was delivered up because of our offenses, and was raised because of our justification.“

2 Peter 1:3, NKJV

3 ”as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue,“

Heb. 8:6 NKJV

6 ”But now He has obtained a more excellent ministry, inasmuch as He is also Mediator of a better covenant, which was established on better promises.“

Mark 11: 22-24, NKJV

22 ”So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God.

23 For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.

24 Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.“

Phil. 4:19, NKJV

19 ”And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.“

Isa.54:17, NKJV

17 ”No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, And their righteousness is from Me,” Says the Lord.“

Psm. 12:6, NKJV,

6 ”The words of the Lord are pure words, Like silver tried in a furnace of earth, Purified seven times.“

Mat. 5: 18, NKJV

18 ”For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled.”

Malachi 3:6, NKJV

6 ”“For I am the Lord, I do not change;

EX. PETER WALKING ON THE WATER;

boat tossed by the waves

wind was contrary

4th watch, Jesus went to them walking on the water. The disciples saw him and were troubled. They said, “It’s a ghost.”

Jesus spoke, “It is I, do not be

afraid.”

Peter said, “Lord, if it’s you,

command me to come to You on the water.”

He said, “Come.”

Peter got out of the boat and became a water walker. As he got closer to Jesus he began to sink. Why? He got his focus off of Jesus and he began to sink. Peter let his physical senses override the words of his Master Jesus.

His sight (the stormy waves and sea froth), hearing (the waves smashing on the sea),

feeling (the wind)

His faith wavered and he began to sink.

Jesus stretched out His hand

said, “Oh you of little faith. Why do you doubt?”

Phil. 4:19, NKJV

19 ”And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.“

Salvation is ours

Healing is ours

Prosperity is ours

ALL means all, even in Hebrew.

We are three parts: spirit, soul, and body;

1 Thes. 5:23, NKJV

23 “Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.“

HANDLING CONTRADICTORY THOUGHTS;  1 Quote scripture and don’t back down. Say, “I take what belongs to me.”

Isaiah 54:17, No weapon formed against me shall prosper.

It’s a walk of faith.

2 You can’t keep birds from flying over your head, but you can keep them from making a nest there.

3 You are a son of God. The devil is trespassing if he comes on your property, he has no legal right.

2 Cor. 10:3-5,

3 ”For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh.

4 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds,

5 casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.

Col. 2:15, NKJV

15 ”Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.“

Luke 10:19, NKJV

19 “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”

Mat. 18:18, NKJV

18 “Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.”

John 14:12, NKJV

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.”

Mat. 28:18-20

”And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.“

Psalm 34:8, Oh taste, and see, that the lord is good;

Blessed is the man who trust in him!

Faith is a verb, it’s an action word. It requires on our behalf to act on it in order for it to work. For faith without works is dead as it repeatedly says in the book of James chapter 2: 17, 20, 26.

Luke 8:21, NKJV

Luke 5: 12-13, NKJV

12 ”And it happened when He was in a certain city, that behold, a man who was full of leprosy saw Jesus; and he fell on his face and implored Him, saying, “Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.”

13 Then He put out His hand and touched him, saying, “I am willing; be cleansed.” Immediately the leprosy left him.“

Luke 5: 16-17, NKJV

16 ”So He Himself often withdrew into the wilderness and prayed.

17 Now it happened on a certain day, as He was teaching, that there were Pharisees and teachers of the law sitting by, who had come out of every town of Galilee, Judea, and Jerusalem. And the power of the Lord was present to heal them.“

Luke 5: 19-20, NKJV

19 And when they could not find how they might bring him in, because of the crowd, they went up on the housetop and let him down with his bed through the tiling into the midst before Jesus. 20 When He saw their faith, He said to him, “Man, your sins are forgiven you.”“

Luke 6: 35-36, NKJV,

35 ”But love your enemies, do good, and lend, hoping for nothing in return; and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High. For He is kind to the unthankful and evil.

36 Therefore be merciful, just as your Father also is merciful.“

Luke 6:40, NKJV

40 ”A disciple is not above his teacher, but everyone who is perfectly trained will be like his teacher.“
